According to India Today, BMW Motorrad plan to release a new G 310 in October. They say, it’ll be released into the Indian market first followed by other countries.
India Today go on to say BMW Motorrad India will launch the new BMW G 310 R and the new BMW G 310 GS in the country on October 8.
The yet to be announced 2021 BMW G 310 R and the 2021 BMW G 310 GS are expected to come with a BS6-compliant, 312.2cc, liquid-cooled engine developing 34bhp of maximum power and 27Nm of peak torque. The motor will be mated to a 6-speed gearbox. Also expected, is for the motorcycles to get a slipper-clutch as a standard feature.
From the teaser images of the new G 310 R and the new G 310 GS released by BMW Motorrad India, it can be gauged that the bikes will have LED lighting including headlamp, taillamp and possibly LED indicators as standard. Other possible inclusions bringing the model in line with the rest of the range could be to feature a digital instrument panel and dual-channel ABS as a standard fitment.
There has been no international announcements regarding changes or updates for the G 310 R and G 310 GS for model year 2021 to date.
