The BMW Motorrad R 18 Transcontinental finally here after the pre-production prototype was first seen in early 2018 at the BMW Motorrad international dealer conference held in Sardinia, Italy.
BMW Motorrad are known for long and thorough product developments times as evidenced in our electric motorcycle “…future fast approaching” article. This is another example of at least 4 to 5 years of behind the scenes development and preparation before the release of the R 18 Transcontinental.
